The North Valley Library is located at 7704 2nd St. NW on the east side of 2nd Street, approximately 9/10 of a mile north of Osuna Blvd and approximately 9/10 of a mile south of Paseo del Norte. The Library is next to First Choice Community Healthcare and shares the incoming parking lot entrance with the Center. The front entrances of the Library faces the parking lot rather than 2nd Street.

Take I-25 to Paseo del Norte and head westbound to 2nd Street. Once on 2nd Street, follow the surface street directions.
Surface Street Directions heading South from Paseo del Norte:
Pass through three traffic lights at El Pueblo Rd., Ranchitos Rd. and Los Ranchos Rd. The Library is the fifth building on the left side of the street after the traffic light at Los Ranchos Road.
Surface Street Directions heading North from Osuna:
We are just beyond where 2nd Street curves north. Turn into the parking lot at First Choice Community Healthcare and continue until you see the parking lot for the library.
North Valley has one meeting room that will hold a maximum of 35 people. Policy, rules and required forms for using the meeting room may be found at Meeting and Study Rooms as well as a list of meeting rooms at other branches.

North Valley has two study rooms that will hold a maximum of four people each. The study rooms are available on a first come, first served basis and may not be reserved. Check in at the Information Desk with your library card to gain access to the study room.

Meeting & Study Rooms Available for Public Reservation
We are a Fiction to Go location! What is Fiction to Go? The Friends for the Public Library sells slightly used, recently published fiction titles for $2 for hardbacks and $1 for paperbacks. Like all funds that our Friends receive, all proceeds from Fiction to Go sales benefit the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Libraries!
North Valley Library is a Roadrunner Food Bank donation location. Donate non-perishable food items in the bin in our entryway. You can also donate at Erna Fergusson, Juan Tabo, and Taylor Ranch libraries.
Baby and Toddler Storytime families
Enjoy an interactive storytime with your child that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays and body movement. Weekly Baby and Toddler Storytime is targeted for ages 0 - 3.
Preschool Storytime families
Join in the fun with stories, songs, puppets and more that encourage development of early literacy skills in young children, using the guidelines from the Every Child Ready to Read program. Weekly Preschool Storytime is targeted for ages 3 - 5.
Read to the Dogs children
Read aloud to Amy & Marco Polo and Nancy & Renee each week. This is a great way to practice reading to a trained service dog in a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Bring your book or choose one of ours. See more information about Read to the Dogs.
Gizmo Garage & Computer Classes adults
Get one-on-one help downloading e-books to your device or learn beginning computer skills such as navigating the Internet, typing a Word document or creating an email account during our twice weekly sessions. Registration is required. Call 897-8823 to register.
